andy, you were just barely a dad on father's day last year when i took this picture of you and your three-week-old son. that look was often on your face whenever you held him - a combination of care, responsibility, honor, wonder, and love.
now, with another 365 days under your belt, your comfort with fatherhood shows when you lift august over your head and he kicks his feet from the thrill of it. you get the best laughs out of him.
watching you become "dada" to our son has been one of the sweetest and most surprising experiences of my life. i'm so grateful that our boy has such a great example to learn from. someone who will teach him to be mindful of the world around him, respectful to the people he shares it with, and do his part to contribute in making it even better. and thank goodness he has you - the original "mr. funny man" - teaching him your goofy ways, because that's important too.
happy father's day, love. and to my own father who is with me every time time i look at my son's blue eyes. he got those from you, papi, and i love the reminder. hopefully that is just one to many traits he inherits from you.

I love this. Especially the part about being silly and goofy, but also teaching the next generation to be a positive force in the world. I hope Andy and Auggie are enjoying Father's Day together!
beautiful new layout! i love the look andy is giving august here, you can see the love <3
thanks, amy. we hope that auggie will be considerate and thoughtful, while maintaining a good sense of humor. so far, he's got the later down - he's such a silly boy! ;)

Aww that's good! And I'm sure he'll grow into a great young man, it seems like he has good examples to show him the way. His uncle speaks highly of all of you :-)
I love that perfect look he has on his face looking at his brand new baby!! I can't wait to have my hubby have that same look some day :)
