my brother hosted the family and some friends at his lovely country home for yesterday's feast. the cold didn't discourage the children from running around outside and all piling on the tire swing while the adults put the finishing touches on dinner. football games played back to back, silently on the tv while tunes strummed off the guitar filled the living room. it was beautiful, it was delicious, and it was happy. i hope yours was just as sweet.
