i love how reflective the end of the year always is. it's a time to remember, a time to review, and a time to recognize what’s most important in life.
looking back on the last twelve months, i notice that 1) i take a lot of bird's-eye-view pictures and 2) coffee is a recurring theme in my life. but mostly i see a year full of trasured moments - big and small - and i realize that i have pretty much everything i could ever want.
with only a week left to 2014, i will be savoring these final days, enjoying the company of my loved ones, and immersing myself in the spirit of the season. i wish you + yours the same thing too.
happy everything and see you on the flip side!

i love all of these little moments! isn't it funny how when you look over a bunch of photos you realize a style ( like taking photos from above ) that you don't consciously mean to do but is so prevalent?? bird's eye view photos and coffee photos always win in my book! happy holidays to you and yours and here's to "happy blogging" in the new year!
A lovely 2014 and here's to an even more wonderful 2015! :)
So sweet! It's a beautiful thing to realize your happy right where you are. Hope the coming year manages to be even more!

Happy New Year and Merry Christmas, lovely Lucinda! So glad we became 'blogging friends' this year :) Blessings to your sweet family! xo
I adore the birds eye perspective shots, especially the one of you holding August's hand in that patch of light. I do love this time of year because of how reflective everyone gets, and how nostalgic. Here's to a beautiful new year. xo
these photos are so beautiful. they really reflect such a lovely, simple joys looking kind of year. here's to an even better 2015, i can't wait!
beautiful. happy happy days to you & yours as well!
Beautiful photos and happy new year! You're my first comment of 2015 (I'm easing back in!), and these pictures and your review is so sweet. really lovely. XO
your photos are so beautiful, Lucinda! that overhead one of her kissing him! so sweet.
happy holidays to you too. enjoy your family time. and see you soon xoxo
It's pretty neat to look over all these pictures and see how much Auggie has grown and changed over this last year. (Although, I am happy to see his little chipmunk cheeks are still there!) :-)
The photo of August in the first one to the train shows how much he's grown! I love reflecting this time of year too and what a wonderful feeling to be happy and content with all the people around us x
