+ on quiet country roads
+ through small, historic towns
+ to the village fair: seeing, hearing and even touching (!) the animals from our books
+ past so many farm stands, piled high with the season's finest
+ onto a ferry boat back over the river
i hope yours was simply lovely, too.

What a splendid way to spend a summer Saturday afternoon! We definitely have to enjoy these while we still can :)

The perfect Saturday! Those are the days I cherish the most. Where you hang out with family and discover new adventures, not to mention farmer's stands :)
this looks so picturesque and my favorite way to spend a weekend day. your baby boo and those beautiful blues! so so cute!! and i LOVE that photo of the peach!
What a nice way to spend the day! I think the farmers market will be still going on here when you guys are visiting, if so you should check it out!
thank you, thank you! ;)
bummer. ;( it seems that you take advantage of weekdays well though so i hope that at least makes up for it! :D
it really was. and you should've seen those bountiful farmer's stands - i'm mad at myself for having left the camera in the car when we got out at one of them.
oh, i hope so!
mine was long and exciting and yes, lovely too xo
I love this post: so simple and lovely. I absolutely adore that 3rd photo down - awesome perspective!
Beautiful post! I adore your photos!
very exciting, i'd say! ;)
ack! HUGE compliment, thank you heather!
this is a total side note, but I really like your navy polish. haha
hahaha! thanks hannah. it's my go-dark-without-looking-goth polish. it's OPI brand but i'm not sure the of the name?
I just checked, and the last of the Saturday markets at the fairgrounds is on Sept. 13th, and the one on Tuesday evenings at the park end on the 23rd!!
right? they are fleeting!
Love this! I miss Saturdays, I typically work every single one. Lovely photos too!
